Temple History

Jand Hanuman Temple is located at 6 Km from Jambughoda Village near Pavagadh Hill and about 75 Km of Vadodra City.It is sictuated in Jambughoda forest.The Temple was built by Pandvas during Mahabharata time Vanvas.The temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman God of Hindu.In this temple lord Hanuman's 18-Feet Statue.

History says that Pandava’s came here. In Hedamba Van Bheem’s Chakki(flour mill) is also one of the attractive thing here. This flour mill is called the Bhima’s flour mill (Bhim ni ghanti). During the period of “vanvaas” “the Pandvas” came here and these are some signs of their presence at here. Around the temple Green forest and beautiful atmosphere.The forest known Hedamba Van.

Also, there is a well which is now covered and a hand pump is fixed atop. It is believed that Arjuna, third one of Pandavas, created it by hitting the ground with an arrow for water supply during their days of exile here. It is believed that this stream never dries, even in the severe draught

After sunrise no one stay here.Every Saturday many people come here and take blessing Lord Hanuman Darshan.Hanuman Jayanti Festival is large celebration in this temple.Every people's wishes full fill in this temple.

By Air: The Nearest Local Airport is Vadodara Airport(77 KM) and International Airport is Ahmedabad Airport(180 KM)

By Rail: The Nearest Big Railway Station is Vadodara Junction otherwise Shivrajpur (10 KM).You may get Taxi, auto and Buses to Reach Hathni Mata temple waterfall.

By Road: There are many public and private vehicles available to reach Jand Hanuman Temple.There are well Road to Jambughoda.After Jambughoda the Road is not well. Mostly people come by their own Vehicles.
