Temple History

Sri Saneeswara Swamy Temple is situated in Madanapally village, Shamshabad Mandal in Rangareddy District of Telangana. This temple is very near to Hyderabad-Bangalore National Highway.

It is said that, Shani Deva advised a devotee named Shri Shankararaju Koyadora to construct a temple of the God in his dream. Later he started the temple construction work and installed the Lord Shani's idol on December 29, 2012.

The main deity Lord Shani idol is installed here along with his wife Goddess Jeshta Lakshmi Devi. Lord Shani's idol is of 22 1/2 feet ekashila idol(single stone) height which appears 12 1/2 feet outside and 10 feet is in the ground. This temple has no rooftop for the idol. The main deity appears openly to all. Generally Shani temples do not have bells to ring but this temple has bells in the temple.

On Saturdays Shaneeshwara Maha homam is being performed at the temple. Large number of devotees visits on Saturdays, Shani Trayodashi and Amavasya days and offer poojas.

This temple is near to Shamshabad Airport. Best hotels and restaurants are available at Shamshabad.

Sanaischaralayam is situated very near to Hyderabad-Bangalore National highway and near to Shamshabad airport.

Shamshabad bus station is just 9.5 kms from the temple. TSRTC buses and private transport is available to reach the temple.

Umdanagar Railway Station,Shamshabad is 10.3 kms and Secunderabad Railway Station is 39 kms from the temple.

Hyderabad International Airport Shamshabad is 15.5 kms.
