Temple History

Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple is situated on a small hill near Velchal village in Mominpet mandal of Vikarabad District.

This is temple surrounds beautiful small hills with greenery and peacefulness attracts the devotees. There are steps to reach the temple.

It is said that earlier there are so many tigers in this forest so that this place is also called as Pulinooka. This temple is constructed by a devotee named Sri Paramadasu. In his dream Sri Lakshmi Narasimha asked him to build a temple of him. With the help of the villagers he build this temple and installed the idols. He is the poojari of this temple. Lord Hanuman and Lord Shiva idols are also here in the temple.

Hindu festivals are grandly celebrated here. Every year before Holy festival, Swamy Bramhotsavam is celbrated.
