Temple History

Sri Uma sametha Rupala Sangameswara temple is situated on Jagannatha Hill, Dinnedevarapadu of Kurnool District. The main deity of this temple is Lord Shiva along with his consort Goddess Uma Devi.

During the construction of Srisailam Dam Project many ancient temples were drowned due to the backwater. That time archaeology department shifted this temple to Jagannatha Hill and rebuild the temple with same stones as it was.

Kurnool City railway station is the nearest railway station which is 10 kms from the temple. Express trains has halt here. Kotla railway station is 8 kms only has Demu and passenger train halts.

Tirupati Renigunta Airport is 325 kms from the Dinnedevarapadu temple.
