Shri Ganesha

Temple History

Shri Supteshwar Ganesh is a swayambhu (emerged on it's own) idol. A resident of Jabalpur in her dreams got indications from Lord Ganesha about his presence on a mountain. The lady started searching for such a location and by Lord Ganesha's blessings successfully found the idol. The idol is a massive rock which clearly resembles with Lord Ganesha's head. This was indicated in Lady's dream also that my head is only visible and remaining body is under ground.
